BuyOnlineShipToPR.Com Services and Procedures

Receiving

All packages are received and processed for shipment on the next business day. We do not hold packages for consolidation with future shipments as we are not freight consolidators.
We do not accept items delivered COD (Cash on Delivery) on your behalf.
We will not be liable for products lost or damaged during transit from the seller to the BuyOnlineShipToPR.Com warehouse in Miami, Florida. If any of your packages in the shipment from your online retailer arrives visibly damaged at our warehouse in Miami, FL, then we will contact you via email and/or telephone and advise you of the same. We will then deal with your package(s) according to your instructions.
You can not ask us to refuse delivery on your behalf. Most shipping carriers deliver packages in bulk.

Shipping

If your package meets the weight and/or size limitations of the USPS, then we will always use our discounted commercial rates with them to send your shipment to Puerto Rico.
You are required to contact us in advance if you suspect that your package will exceed the weight and/or dimensions listed in the Rates and Pricing section of this website. You will obtain a free quote for shipment via an alternate shipping method and company.
We are not responsible for the speed of delivery once a package has been placed in the care of the USPS or any other shipping company.

Inspection of Packages

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO OPEN A PACKAGE THAT WE SUSPECT CONTAINS PROHIBITED, UNLAWFUL, HAZARDOUS OR ILLEGAL MATERIALS.

Handling Fees

For each shipment you will be billed a Total Charge comprised of our low handling fee, the carrier?s shipping fee, and a Signature-Confirmation? fee. Additionally, there may be optional fees resulting from requests made by you for insurance or faster delivery.

Pay as you Go Billing
By creating an account with us you agree to the following:

To keep at least one valid credit card, your default credit card, on record with us.
That our system will automatically charge this default credit card when we process a shipment for you.
You acknowledge and agree to pay all charges relating to shipment processing and options.
That its your sole responsibility to monitor your credit card activity and that in case of dispute, you will resolve the matter directly with us.
That until payment has been secured, your shipment will be held. We will notify you via email if your credit card declines to request another method of payment.

Non properly identified recipients

If a recipient?s name is missing or misspelled and for this reason the package owner cannot be determined after exhausting all investigative options and no one has claimed them over 90 days, we reserve the right to dispose of them in a manner allowed by the law.

No Mail Accepted

BuyOnlineShipToPR.Com accepts delivery of packages ONLY. Since we are not a mail forwarding agent, we can not accept mail, delivery of documents or any other mail addressed to you on your behalf. We will refuse delivery of first-class mail addressed to you and will return it to the sender.
We will not sign for any certified, registered, Express® or Priority Mail® documents. Those will be returned to the sender.
Unsolicited mail such as catalogues, advertisements, promotional materials, magazines addressed to you will be disposed.

Prohibited Items

If it comes to our attention that your package(s) contains prohibited or hazardous materials (as described in detail in our Prohibited Items Section) you will receive a notification via email stating that we are unable to process them for shipment. You must make arrangements for immediate return.
If illegal materials are found in your package, we will notify the law enforcement authorities of our discovery.

No Storage Facilities Available

All packages are received and processed for shipment on the next business day. We do not hold or store packages for consolidation with future shipments as we are not freight consolidators.

Your BuyOnlineShipToPR.Com Ship-To Address
You agree to ensure that the products you order and are shipped to our warehouse are correctly addressed to your BuyOnlineShipToPR.Com address in Miami. Include your name and account number in the address format shown in Your Account section and provided in your welcome registration email.
Your Ship-To Address in Puerto Rico
It is your responsibility to provide us with an accurate address to forward your packages to in Puerto Rico. Our automatic shipping software validates and standardizes all addresses according to USPS standards during package processing. Purchased transactions between You and the Seller
You are responsible to pay the seller directly for the products and the cost of shipping. This applies when you place an order with an online seller from either links on this website or directly from the seller's website.
Insurance Shipment Value Protection

Your packages are NOT automatically insured when they are shipped from our warehouse in Miami, Florida to your address in Puerto Rico.
Any insurance special request must be made in advance before the package arrives at our warehouse.
To purchase insurance for a specific shipment, you are required to login into your account. Fill out a New Special Request form with the package value instructions.
Insurance fees are calculated on a per package basis ? as per USPS regulations or U-PIC standard rates, these vary depending on merchandise, from $.80 to $2 per 100.00 of insured value.
Maximum coverage is 5,000.00 USD per shipment.
All insurance claims are subject to and covered by the policies of USPS and U-PIC. We are not responsible from any damages or losses, financial or otherwise, that result from coverage or lack of thereof from these two insurers. All liability pertaining to insurance falls in the particular insurer for the particular shipment in question.

Compliance with the Law
By registering and using BuyOnlineShipToPR.Com website, you agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in effect in the USA. You agree not use or attempt to use BuyOnlineShipToPR.Com services and membership privileges to receive or send illegal, hazardous or dangerous materials, prohibited goods, or controlled substances; or for any other purpose not in conformity by the USPS regulations or other applicable laws, statutes, rules and regulations. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO OPEN A PACKAGE THAT WE SUSPECT CONTAINS PROHIBITED, UNLAWFUL, HAZARDOUS OR ILLEGAL MATERIALS. You specifically indemnify us and hold us harmless from any and all liability, claims, damages, losses or causes of actions arising from such inspection of your packages or from the release of information regarding you or your use of the services to any local, state, or national agency or to the USPS, or to a private party whose subpoena you fail to contest as specified by us.
Security
You agree that you are solely responsible for safekeeping your password, account information and maintaining its confidentiality. You agree to notify BuyOnlineShipToPR.Com immediately of any unauthorized use or any breach of security known to you. Until BuyOnlineShipToPR.Com is notified in writing of such circumstances, you will remain liable for any authorized use of your account and information. We will take all immediate actions possible to address this situation. We will block your account and deactivate it, depending on our findings; we will allow you to open a new account.
Privacy Policy and Data Protection

Communications and Notice

Once your account has been terminated you will not be able to log into your account and all future shipments on your behalf will NOT be accepted at our facilities.
You agree and acknowledge that BuyOnlineShipToPR.Com has the option to cancel your account with us at our sole discretion for any cause at any given time with or without notice to you without any refund or reimbursement when we find good cause. Good cause can be found on the following but not limited to:

You violate any provision on this Agreement.
You fail to cooperate with information in connection with any investigation by any and all governmental agencies.
We determine that your payment information is not accurate and/or it is being used in a fraudulent manner.
We discover that you are using BuyOnlineShipToPR.Com services for illegal purposes and for mailing hazardous, dangerous and prohibited materials.

Lost or Damaged Shipment

You agree and acknowledge that we are not liable for any damage to packages during or after forwarding to you.
We strongly recommend for you to purchase insurance for the value of the contents of each package.
You agree and acknowledge that it is your responsibility to purchase insurance by placing a new request form via your account section before your package arrives at our warehouse for processing.

Claims

Claims can only be made on packages for which insurance coverage was purchased for the shipment from our warehouse in Miami, FL to Puerto Rico.
For shipments damaged during transit to Puerto Rico, claims must be made within 7 days of receipt and must be made via email to Contact@BuyOnlineShipToPR.Com.
For shipments lost during transit to Puerto Rico, claims must be made via email to Contact@BuyOnlineShipToPR.Com and only after 21 days from the date of shipment.

Returns & Exchanges
If after delivery to you, you wish to return an item to the seller/retailer from whom you purchased it, you will need to make direct arrangements with the seller/retailer as soon as possible for any return, refund, or exchange of items in accordance with their terms and policies.
Limitation of Liability
In no event will BuyOnlineShipToPR.Com be liable to you or anyone else for any loss or injury arising out of or caused in whole or in part by negligent acts or omissions in compiling, collecting, processing, communicating or delivering packages; or your inability to use the product even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages directly or indirectly. Some states do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Acts of God and Circumstances Beyond Our Control
